Announcing Chestermere United and Junior Champions partnership

We are pleased to announce the partnership of Chestermere United Football Club (CUFC) and Junior Champions Soccer to create a new Chestermere Grassroots Soccer Program. This strategic cooperation will enhance and expand the local soccer community by uniting resources and providing a more cohesive development pathway for young players.

By consolidating efforts, we can offer consistent, high-quality coaching and a structured player development pathway, allowing athletes to progress seamlessly into city league teams. As the grassroots program flourishes, we anticipate an increase in the number of city league teams, offering greater opportunities across various age groups and skill levels.

Key Benefits of the Merger:

• Experienced Coaching & Mentorship: Each program will have adult coaches leading practices while mentoring junior coaches.
• Unified Training Approach: All teams within an age group will follow a standardized and structured practice plan.
• Streamlined Management: A dedicated Grassroots Coordinator will oversee the season schedule.

Program Structure

U5/U7/U9/U11 – 10-Week Programs

• U5 Program (in collaboration with Luna Kids): Focused on movement and fun, with registration fees including a t-shirt, personal ball, drawstring bag with logos, and an end-of-season medal.
• U7/U9/U11 Programs: Training sessions and games will follow a structured schedule. Fees include a CUFC/JR full kit, drawstring bag with logos, an end-of-season medal, and association fees.
